The Flamenca Inn is located in the center of the small town of Cortelazor la Real, less than 1 minute from the town square, with its church and bars with a terrace.
Welcome to the cobbled village of Cortelazor (three tapas bars, one shop, a pool), set in a delightful bowl surrounded by trees and almost-English hills. La Flamenca was once a house and bakery (locals still talk about getting their bread here) but all that remains is the listed front wall. Now two wooden doors transport you from the hot Huelva to a slice of Victorian England, gloriously spread over three floors: rent a room or take it all. The atrium is the core of the house and where we organize Flamenco evenings, with reclaimed church pews, cast iron radiators, and a very pretty old Swiss stove, tall and tiled. On the floor a beautiful 5 x 3 m, Victorian mosaic carpet. The grand salon is a large living room with three spectacular half-point windows made of mahogany and stained-glass, brought from a church that was demolished in Scotland.
The jewel of La Flamenca Inn is Its wide kitchen, in country style with a large mahogany table that can seat up to 14 people, at the end and impressive carved wood fireplace.
From the kitchen, you access the porch and garden that has tables, chairs, and barbecue with views of the Sierra Morena.
Discover La Flamenca Inn and be transported to the interiors of a novel by Agatha Cristine.
