Outstanding, Undervalued, Peaceful Yet Very Accessible Find
My wife and I, who own two high priced beachfront condos in Florida that we actively rent via VRBO, were looking to explore the Great Smoky Mountain area inexpensively. We came upon Teresa's Place. The unit we were assigned was by far lower priced than any other competition, yet very clean, very well stocked, thoughtfully, tastefully furnished and decorated with very comfortable beds and bedding, towels, etc., and just as pictured. All the venues we wanted to see and experience were also readily accessible, as were Teresa and her husband who were very available, informative, and responsive, both before and during our stay. We love high quality, peaceful, accessible simplicity. It was perfect. We will be back, probably with other family members!

Excellent Host
Teresa's property was nice, and she was an excellent host! The beds were really comfy, and the apartment was nice and clean. We enjoyed the location of the property in relation to the activities/attractions we were planning on visiting. Teresa was very attentive and quick to respond to any questions, and was very knowledgeable about the surrounding area. I'll keep her property in mind for future visits to the NC mountains!

I have lived in this community for most of my life. I graduated from high school at Stecoah and then attended college at Mars Hill College, University of Tennessee and Western Carolina University. I am currently employed by the local school system and live on site.

Why they chose this property

I inherited this property when my mother passed away in 2010. I have also been involved in promoting local tourism for over 20 years. I thought I would enjoy opening my property to area visitors because I might help them have a good stay in our community and I would meet a lot of great people.

I hope to retire in the near future and would like to host families and visitors. It will keep me busy and help me support myself in retirement.

What makes this property unique

A recent guest loved that the apartment was so clean and conveniently located with a country atmosphere.
