Self-check in via lockbox. Where possible all guests will enjoy a meet and greet but after that your stay can be as private or as social as you want. To make the most of your getaway, a visit to the local i-SITE is also worthwhile. I suggest Backyard Tours for your transport to and from the Tongariro Crossing. They're a local Maori family and will ensure a good pick up and drop off, they also carry out a Maori blessing at the start of the crossing. Be prepared for four seasons in one day.
We like to try do our part to look after Papatūānuku (mother earth). Dishes have to be done by hand. Please conserve water, turn off power and lights at night and when you are away from home. Please leave the Bach clean and tidy.
***PLEASE DO NOT BOOK THIS LISTING if you are looking for 4-5 star accommodation. We like our Bach how it is and we always try to keep it simple, warm and very clean without all the mods and cons. It would not suit everyone!
