About this property

This beautiful home was custom built on 2 acres in a quiet neighborhood just 1/2 mile from the city limits of Yakima. It is located on the north slope of Ahtanum ridge which gives a spectacular view of the entire city of Yakima all day/night long. Enjoy the panoramic, twinkling lights of Yakima and the valley below from the wraparound deck. Gorgeous! As if this wasn't perfect enough, the home is located amidst apple and cherry orchards.
Every bedroom has a view! The master bedroom features a king size bed and a master bathroom with a jacuzzi tub and a separate sauna/steam shower. This bedroom is located on the main floor of the house. 3 bedrooms upstairs: 1 queen bed and 2 full beds.
The private road that accesses this home is paved and there is plenty of paved parking space on two sides of the house. If you have an RV or a boat, you will have no problem finding a place to set it up.
This home is located close to the Rattlesnake Hills Wine Trail, plus many other vineyards and craft breweries and hop fields. Yakima Valley produces 75% of all the hops in the United States!
Incredible fly fishing is close by in the Yakima River Canyon. Fly fishing, hiking.. in this beautiful and scenic 20-mile canyon. FLOAT THE YAKIMA RIVER during the summer.
Alaska Air flies is close by and wine flies free! Fly your first case of wine out of Yakima, McAllister Field, via Alaska/ Horizon Air free! Plus, golf is very close , snow skiing at White Pass (50 miles away), river rafting on the Tieton River (25 minute dirve), Toppenish Rodeo and parade on the Fourth of July, and many other popular events around the Valley. Hiking and mountain biking.
This home is centrally located for quick and easy access to the freeway.

The home has a reverse osmosis water system that is accessed from the kitchen tap water and the kitchen refrigerator ice maker. This system will give you safe and great tasting water and ice.

75 inch 4K TV in the living room, 50 inch flat screen in the den has a stereo sound system & DVD/CD player & Direct TV.
42 inch flat screen in the master bedroom has a stereo sound system and DVD/CD player with Direct TV. Home also features a Harman Kardon portable wireless bluetooth speaker with spectacular sound. Bring in your own music and listen to it from anywhere, inside or outside the home.
This home is very well stocked for cooking and is also well stocked with toilet paper, paper towels and other paper products

There is a one person apartment on the basement floor of the home that is not included in this rental. It has a separate access /entrance from the property being rented.

Wine Weekend

Lovely location with tons of windows overlooking the orchards and valley. Hearing the birds chirp in the morning while sitting in the deck was a delight. Great location for some wine tasting at nearby wineries!

Multiple family weekend

This is the second year we have stayed in this home for a multiple family weekend of lacrosse. The house has comfortable beds, everything you need in the kitchen to cook large meals and close to stores when you need to run in to town for something. The house is just outside of town and provides a beautiful view of the valley.

Why they chose this property

The home and property is so beautiful & quiet with fantastic views of the Yakima Valley. Close to vineyards and golf courses. It would be a shame not to share it.

What makes this property unique

Because the Yakima Valley is in an agricultural region, the well water is very hard. So when I first purchased the home, I installed a Culligan water softener and a Culligan reverse osmosis purifier. The water from the R/O unit supplies the ice maker in the refrigerator and the small spicket at main sink. The icemaker also provides crushed, purified ice and water by the glass. For purified ice cubes, open the freezer and use the scoop to obtain ice cubes directly from the ice maker.
