Picturesque and peaceful, Killcare and Hardys Bay offer an idyllic coastal lifestyle. Residents have beaches and bushland at their disposal and they take maximum advantage of both. Putty Beach is a firm favourite, and the Bouddi Coastal Walk, which stretches all the way to Macmasters Beach, is a local go-to. Bouddi National Park is a natural delight, with walking trails, mountain biking tracks, fishing spots and beautiful beaches that are a world away from the daily grind.

Killcare Village caters to basic shopping and service needs and features an art gallery, general store, hair salon, and boutique shops. It is a factor in the low-key, community feel the suburb is known for, and bigger shopping malls are just a short drive away. When it comes to dining, Killcare and Hardys Bay is a hidden hotspot. There are fine dining restaurants like Wild Flower Dining (located inside Bells at Killcare), as well as relaxed beachside eateries such as The Fat Goose and Hardys Bay Bistro.
