About this property

Amazing Beachfront Haven

At Turquesa, there is nothing between you and the sea. A newly renovated two king bedroom, two bath condo awaits where you are mere steps from the beach or the pool from our ground floor corner unit. You will feel peace and serenity from the moment you arrive. Revel in the beautiful turquoise waters of Turks and Caicos as you relax in the tranquility of the resort or take a peaceful stroll or vigorous jog along our 3.5 mile long stretch of sandy shoreline. The beach offers a wonderful walk where nature abounds and there are few people. While you can be in the action and crowds at Grace Bay in only twenty minutes, Turquesa is for those who want to escape the crowds and enjoy the beauty of the island.

Our unique unit, tastefully decorated in turquoise and blue brings the colors of the beach inside for a bright airy space. Whether you like to read, write, or just sit back and relax, Turquesa is perfect. A steady breeze, even in the summer months, allows you to enjoy open windows bringing in the sounds of the ocean. However, air conditioning is always available if desired.

Our new kitchen is completely equipped with all the amenities of home including plenty of dishes, cutlery, bowls, pots, and cooking necessities to prepare delicious meals and snacks. After a long day at the beach, enjoy a refreshing cocktail at the pub height table and chairs on the patio. Persistent warm breezes on two open sides provide an expansive view for enjoying ocean sounds and sights.

Our bedrooms with king beds are comfortable and up-to-date. A new comfortable sofa bed is available, however we do not recommend more than 4 people sharing this unit. Turquesa also includes complimentary monogrammed beach towels for use. A 42' LED wall mounted smart TV is comes with cable TV. Stable wi-fi is included free of charge.

Located a twenty minute drive from the PLS airport at the end of Millenium Highway just past Blue Hills, this fifteen acre, quiet, forty-nine unit Northwest Point Resort is adjacent to the National Marine Park and Nature Preserve. Twenty minute drive takes you to most places for shopping, restaurants in Grace Bay or Turtle Cove. Turquesa is your perfect haven whether you are a nature lover, a writer, a family, or honeymooners! This resort offers something for everyone away from the crowds of Grace Bay yet only a short car ride to all the major attractions. A car is recommended as you need it to explore the entire island and the array of local attractions. We can recommend rental agencies.

Peaceful and gorgeous
The condo was very clean and perfect for 2 couples. Beds were comfortable and the view from the patio was gorgeous. Loved having breakfast out there each morning. The beach and pool we're nice, we never had an issue getting chairs. While it is a ways from Grace Bay and most of the restaurants, I liked the peace and quiet and we drove most days down for dinner. However, the condo is well equipped for cooking. Beautiful place I hope to return to. Also, if you like to snorkel, we found great snorkeling right off the beach.

zero stars if I could
We traveled with 5 people, two adults and our three teenage children, We have traveled around the world and stay at condos, air b and bs, all inclusive resorts, hotels etc. This was the worst place that we have every stayed. Our flight was delayed and we got in late. Upon arrival there was no water and no toilet paper for 5 people. Not a single bottle of water nor a single roll of toilet paper. When I inquired I was told this was our responsibility. The night we arrived my husband noticed on the patio all kinds of construction equipment. He tired to clean the best that he was able to do in the dark. When I went out in the morning I stepped on a three inch screw. There was a huge box of caulking equipment, screws, nails and lumber which despite my complaint were not moved for 4 days. There were also only 2 real beds and we had 5 people. The third bed (pull out) was unihabitable. My son who backed pack across North Carolina one summer and Washington another summer both with just a sleeping bag, said the bed was worse than the ground as the bar was unbearable to sleep on as it jabbed into your body through the mattress. One of the beds had blood stained sheets. The sheets were scratchy. The first day there, the door lock did not work and I was stuck in the condo for hours as we could not lock the door and all of our valuables which could not fit in safe because the safe was too small. The lock was one of the batteries operated locks (which we have at our house and when the batter gets low, the locks are hit or miss). I asked that the lock be fixed on our first day. They were not. On our 4th day, we were completely locked our for 4 hours. My son tried to hop the fence to see if we could get in through a window or back door and he broke he brand new iPhone 10. The refrigerator was filled with moldy food upon our arrival and the freezer had an exploded bottle in side with a disaster everywhere. The condo itself was not exceptionally clean. The closets and he cabinets were filled with paint, construction equipment and the owner personal stuff so I did not get the vacation feel of staying at some place wonderful. There were also cockroaches every where. It was anything but wonderful which distracted from the beauty of Turks and Caicos. Condos are a super way to spend a family vacation, but I would pass on this condo. I have all kinds of pictures to back this up.
