This spacious self catering apartment is ideal for a family or group of friends and is perfect for an extended holiday or weekend break.
1 bedroom, a "sunroom" (with single bed) and a sofa bed allows for 5 guests to stay over comfortably.
At a very affordable price the apartment includes all the commodities that will ensure for an enjoyable care free holiday experience. All kitchen utilities, linen and washing facilities (washer, dryer, iron, ironing board ) are available as well as a flat screen television. Guests are welcome to bring their own DSTV decoder to enjoy unlimited entertainment. A communal BBQ facility and enclosed secure parking is also available.

The apartment has easy access to the beach and nearby cafes, shops and leisure activities, guests are only 1 minute away from stepping their feet into the False Bay ocean.
This area is known for its beach lifestyle as the Strand has one of the most popular beaches in the Western Cape and is great for water sports, kids activities, hiking and shopping.
The Melkbaai area in Strand is a favorite holiday and week-end brake away destination for many South Africans and has also become popular among the international community. The apartment is conveniently located in Beach road nearby many shopping areas and restaurants. There are a variety of leisure activities to fill your day, such as surfing, hiking, fishing, shopping and golfing only to name a few.
It has a vibrant atmosphere with many small coffee shops and breakfast cafes. You can start your day having breakfast nearby the beach and in the evening you have the choice of dining out on an open terrace at one of the many nearby restaurants.
You will find the people of the Strand a friendly community. English is widely spoken and therefore would be the preferred language to communicate.
3. Seasons & Climate
The summer holidays in South Africa are the busiest time for our tourist industry, especially along the coastal areas with the peak season stretching from middle December to middle January. If you prefer a quieter and less populated holiday destination; outside of the peak season the temperatures are still pleasant, the atmosphere still vibrant, but with the exception of less crowded beaches and roads. The Strand area has a dry heat. From November through to February temperatures can reach a high of 32 degree Celsius, with January and February having the highest temperatures. Night times will cool to an average 16 to 18 degree Celsius. The coldest time of the year is from May through to beginning September when day temperatures will average between 16-20 degree Celsius.
4. Transportation
The Strand area in Western Cape have many attractions to offer. There are loads to do and experience. Car rentals are available at the airport and throughout the Somerset-Strand and Gordon's bay area. If you prefer not to drive yourself you can arrange to be chaperoned by one of the local taxi companies.
