Aruba Divi Phoenix

Great beach front property on Palm Beach in Aruba at beginning of hi rises. Property is in process of renovations, initially we were placed in renovated section but mildew smell was so intrusive had 2 dehumidifiers going 2 nights and had to beg to be moved which was accommodated to older building, but upgrade in size & smell! Rest of trip was great. Met another family that had same problem & moved to older bldg as well… went week of NYE and the palapa grab game every morning is a real sport otherwise lovely staff, amenities and location

Aruba Getaway

We had a beautiful clean room and the property was immaculate. The process to get a pool chair or palapa is ridiculous. We don't go on vacation to have to get up at 5:30 am just to get chairs. That needs to improve. Also when I checked in I was told I have an ocean view room NOPE! Our room overlooked a parking lot of the Ocean Club. Asked to change location and was told no. Otherwise everything else was great.

Absolutely perfect family vacation!

We loved our stay at the Marriott Surf Club! The property and amenities were beautiful and well-maintained. We enjoyed spending hours at the white sand beach and relaxing in the lazy river. It was easy to secure a palapa no matter what time we came down everyday, however, the only downside is that you must reserve your pool chairs at 7am if you want to secure a spot. But if you go to the pool in the afternoon, chairs always opened up! Pool bar and bartenders made delicious frozen drinks for both of us and the kids! Room was spacious, clean and updated. I would’ve preferred a higher floor but our garden view was beautiful! The resort is conveniently located within a 5 minute walk on the beach to loads of dining and shopping choices. You are right next to the Jolly Roger for various boat tours and water sports. Everything was excellent! We hope to come back next year!

This was our second time staying at Marriott Surf Club. We now have a 4 year old and a 10month old, this place is great for a family vacation. 2 bedroom units are large and have washer/dryer which is awesome. Location of this hotel and all it’s amenities are terrific. I highly recommend and would definitely stay again.
