Fabulous ski vacation
My family of 4 stayed in this lovely home. It was perfect. It was well appointed, cozy and very comfortable. We easily reached the slopes for some awesome skiing and then made it back to hop in the hot tub and/or sit by the fire. Would definitely stay here again.

Spacious, well appointed, sunny = perfect family ski chalet
Highly recommended! We enjoyed perhaps our best family vacation for my wife and I, our three 20-something adult children and their significant others. Beautiful town home, stylishly and comfortably furnished with sun late in the afternoon and a lovely view of Lonely Mountain. Some advice: if you are planning to ski 3 days with 4 or more people, buy at least one Ikon pass before December 8th! We saved $700 using buddy passes from my one Ikon pass. It would have made sense to buy 2 passes with 8 of us skiing 2 - 4 days. The ski out from this property is easy and you don’t need a pass to ski to ticket office at Madison Base. Skiing in is a bit tricky: no sign for “Bootlegger” cat track to the ski bridge leading to “Alpine Meadows” run, essentially a run dedicated to ski-in access for the north side Moonlight Basin cabins and condos. The easiest route is to take Iron Horse or Pony Express lifts to “Powder River” run (can also access off Six Shooter lift via Cinnabar and other runs). Stay skier’s left on Powder River as you approach Moonlight Lodge. Ski towards the last two cabins about 100 yds on left above Moonlight lodge. Look for disturbed snow on left, ski to top of the berm next to last cabin, you’ll see Bootlegger - no sign afaik for Bootlegger so it’s hidden. To minimize slogging, cut through trees above Bootlegger cat-track, up slight grade. You’ll see the back of the sign to Alpine Meadows on right of Bootlegger, go right to ski bridges back in.

Nice, modern ski in/out
Overall the house was as advertised and enjoyed our stay. A few mishaps: -Top bunk cover was not cleaned (dog hair/dirty). -Left a message with residential services requesting a late check out and never received a return call. -Living room couch/chairs not conducive for watching movies at night with the family.
