Great location close to golf, beaches and Ojochal

Wonderful home for up to 5 people. Close to golfing, beaches and activities. Only 2 km (1.2 miles) paved roads (except last 300 meters) and no 4x4 vehicle needed.

Guests love the breakfast bar and the outdoor, elevated patio, with wonderful mountain views. It is a wonderful place to watch the sunrise.

15 minutes to Costa Rica's most beautiful beaches of Playa Ventanas, Playa Tortuga and the famous turtle sanctuary/learning center.

This newly remodeled home is perfectly located in San Buenaventura and only 2 km (1mile) from the Costanera Highway, with paved roads except the last 200 meters. No 4x4 vehicles needed to get here - which is rare in this area.

Casa Kingfisher was newly renovated with a new couch (ignore the comments on the old reviews), a work desk, outdoor table in the backyard near the pool, new dishes, cookware, beach towels, etc.

The Owner's Suite has a king-size bed, patio walk-out to the private pool, A/C, ceiling fan, SmartTV, en suite bathroom, shower, toilet and closet.

Bedroom #2 has a queen-sized bed and a single bed, A/C, closets and ceiling fan.

Guests love the breakfast bar and the outdoor, elevated patio, with wonderful mountain views on two sides. It is a wonderful place to watch the sunrise.

Only 15 minutes to some of Costa Rica's most beautiful beaches (including Playa Ventanas), Playa Tortuga and the famous turtle sanctuary/learning center, private hiking on-site, 3km walk to nearby waterfall.

Casa Kingfisher has two (2) Smart TV's. One in the living room/sala and one in the master suite. They have access to Netflix and YouTube and other applications (each renter must use their own personal login credentials).

Home is located inside Villas San Buenas, which is located next door to Osa Golf Course. Osa Golf Course has clubs and carts for rent and is an enjoyable and challenging golf course.

This is a great home for short-term or long-term rentals.
Long-term guests (over 25 nights) are required to pay for electricity and provide a valid credit card upon check-in, to pay for the electricity.

Every vacation rental managed by Osa Property Management will have the following provided:

Osa Property Management’s Concierge and Vacation Planner team will contact you within 24 hours of the reservation being made. We will arrange all excursions/activities/tours with reputable companies in the area, provide a link for grocery delivery, and make reservations at any restaurant. Our goal is to make your trip to Costa Rica enjoyable and as relaxing as you want it to be.

We will assist with making any necessary transportation arrangements from Juan Santamaria International Airport in San Jose (SJO), or one of the local regional airports. Palmar Sur is closest (~30 minutes) and has one flight per day in/out of San Jose, while Quepos is approximately 60 minutes from San Buenaventura and has multiple flights per day on either Sansa Airlines or private charters.

San Buenaventura de Osa is quaint, friendly and safe neighborhood. As one of our guests once told us, "This is the authentic Costa Rica experience." There is a convenience store in San Buenas (called 'pulparias') where guests can buy any essential item (soda, juice, milk, bread, razors, toothpaste, toothbrush, napkins, etc), a Catholic Church and several schools.

Please drive slowly as there are many children in the community. Also, don't be surprised to see a cow or a horse in the road, or a monkey or toucan in the trees.

San Buenaventura is located 10 minutes south of Ojochal (and all of their amazing restaurants) and approximately 15 minutes south of Uvita.

It is also located 15 minutes north of Palmar Norte/Palmar Sur. Palmar Norte has several large supermarkets, pharmacies and shopping. Palmar Sur has daily flights to/from San Jose
This is a home with private access.

It is behind an unmanned gate with 24-hour, remote control access past the gate, and entry into the home. Guests are free to leave and arrive any time of the day or the night.

Check-in must be completed by 8:30 pm
In special circumstances, and confirmed in advance, check-in can be completed by 10 pm, but there will be an additional charge of $75.

Renters will have full access to the home and the private pool.

There is a shared rancho (covered grill area) across the street that is shared with two other homes. Availability can be reserved in advance if requested, but is availability on a first-come, first-serve basis (and free to use).

A private vehicle is necessary. There are neither taxis nor Uber available in San Buenaventura. Contact Osa Property Management if you need help lining up a rental car or a private driver.

Just perfect
After 3 months of stay I have only positive things to say about this property. The comunication with the owners was perfect, the surrounding area was just what we were wishing for ( pure nature,animals,birds,reptiles...). We also had a few issues at the beginning but it was solved immediately by the owners. I would give more than 5 stars if I could and we will surely be back. THANK YOU !!!

Problems but property manager stepped up
After check-in, we noticed some plumbing issues. The handyman showed up early the next morning and determined that he could not fix problems. We were moved that day to an upgraded property and enjoyed our stay very much. Thanks to Osa Property Management for being very responsive to the issues.

My two months at King Fisher
I love the community and always felt incredibly safe. I think we had a little difficulty getting the cable hooked up properly but I really did not watch TV. Everyone including pool service and yard service workers were tip top. I only had two issues. One was the couch which I stopped using because it hurt my back and second was the refrigerator . Some of my food would freeze and at time some of the food got wet. Not sure why this happened so I was careful to bag up or put food in plastic containers. Every thing else was great and I can’t wait to get back there.

Nos gustó mucho el lugar, La Paz y tranquilidad que se respira. La casa está bonita. El aire acondicionado no funcionó o no nos explicaron como funcionaba, es un detalle, solo en las noches hacia falta. Algunos detalles menores, pero el lugar vale la pena.
