Perfect Condo for families with kids - Steps from the slopes

Great location next to the village and just steps away from restaurants/bars, shops, and even a Starbucks! You’ll love the location of our 2BR, 2BA condo – it’s on the first floor so you can walk across the hall and onto the slopes. No steps or elevators to navigate with all of your equipment or kids.

Our condo sleeps 6 - each bedroom has a queen bed and the living room has a queen sleep sofa. There is a brand new 40 inch Flat screen TV in the living room with Netflix, DVD Player and a brand new 32 inch flat screen TV in each bedroom.

The condo has a dedicated internet connection with wireless router so you don't have to worry about the strength of the Mountain Lodge WiFi - you'll have your own private internet line in the unit!

Mountain Lodge Building has a game room, indoor play equipment for the kids, a large TV in one of the common areas, and a huge fireplace in the lobby to rest your feet and warm up after a hard day on the slopes!

Mountain Lodge is steps away from the main village with lots of restaurants/bars, shops, and even a Starbucks.

Summer Rentals:
Mountain Lodge has bike lockers available for rent, but they do not allow bikes in the building or in individual units.

Mountain Lodge does not have air conditioning. There are fans in our condo and the heat is generally not an issue at the top of the mountain but the building and the individual condos do not have AC.

Family ski trip

Able to access the slopes from the back of the lodge. Will is extremely easy to communicate with! Easy access into snowshoe village!

Ski vacation

Can’t get much better than a first floor room literally steps away from the slopes! It was a convenient stay located close to bars and restaurants. We never started the cars except to leave!

VERY close to a 5-star

The location is perfect! Check-in was easy. It was a little small for 5 adults, but only while we were up and about (and not on the slopes). It definitely sleeps 6, no problem. I really, really wanted to give this place 5-stars, because it was almost PERFECT. But I had a few problems with the kitchen. We found dirty dishes when we got there, and not in the sink; they were mixed in with the clean dishes. One of the steak knives had a solid layer of dried ketchup on one side of the blade. Speaking of knives, every single kitchen knife was as dull as a baseball bat. I had to bludgeon my sausage apart. Honestly, these are little things (and everything else was great), but I just can't leave a 5-star review because of them.

Ski in/Ski out Great location

Great for direct access to ski slopes. Easy back to the condo for lunch. Owners are very accommodating. We'll be back.

We have been coming to Snowshoe for a long time and absolutely love the Mountain and the Village. We brought our kids here skiing for the first time in 2015 and they loved it so much that we decided to buy a place. We are looking forward to some quality family bonding time over the years!

Why they chose this property

You can't beat the location of Mountain Lodge. You literally park your car and forget about it until it's time to go home. Just steps away from the top of Ballhooter lift, a short 2 minute walk to Starbucks and all of the restaurants/bars in the Village, a quick walk to Split Rock Pool. You just can't find a better location on the mountain.

What makes this property unique

We decided on our particular unit because it's on the first floor in the middle of the building. You don't have to navigate the elevator or stairs when carrying ski equipment and unpacking the car! You also walk across the hall and out the doors and you're at the top of the mountain - it's perfect!
