Unvergesslichen Urlaub

Wunderschöne Villa. Ausgezeichnete Besitzer. Fantastischem Meerblick . Kostenlose Parkplätze . Wir werden zurückkehren, in diesem fabelhaften Land. Sicher in der Villa Matilde.

Delightful holiday home

We stayed in Villa Matilde for a week at the beginning of June. It is charming: very clean, comfortable, attractive, well maintained and equipped for all our needs. There is parking nearby, and good internet connection. It is very well-placed for exploring the Amalfi coast, being approximately 20 minutes’ drive from the town of Amalfi, in a peaceful, quiet, rural area - which is just what we wanted. We enjoyed a few evening meals and all our breakfasts on the balcony, from which the views, although not entirely uninterrupted, are beautiful; a very tranquil place to relax. Despite our very late arrival, Roberto and his family were very friendly and kind at all times, and helped with everything we needed during our stay. Excellent customer service! There are many good restaurants in the towns, and a supermarket in Amalfi for self-catering. We would recommend use of a car, although there are so many beautiful walks. A good satnav is helpful if you are unfamiliar with the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Matilde, which we would certainly recommend - 9/10.

Superb Holiday

Superb Villa in Amalfi. Wonderful sea view and private garden in the countryside. The Villa is very clean, equipped with all comforts. Excellent internet connection. The owner Mr Roberto is wonderful person and gave us some local products with limoncello. We enjoyed the tranquility of the place and we had no problem parking. The whole coast is fantastic and I would recommend the Villa very much at all.

Il n'y a rien de mieux. Merveilleux”

L'appartement dans la Villa est beaucoup plus belle que sur les photos. Les chambres, avec des bordures de style XIXe siècle, les carreaux avec des dessins de style anglais, ont une vue sur la mer merveilleux. L'appartement est équipé de tout mais la chose qui nous a plus surpris sont les propriétaires, Roberto et Anna Maria. Ils nous ont guidés tout au long du séjour, en nous conseillant les endroits à voir. Il a été facile de parler avec Roberto, parce que il parle bien français, et avec Anna Maria qui parle un peu anglais. Quand nous sommes arrivés, Nous avons trouvé un plateau avec tous les produits locaux: vin, le célèbre Limoncello, des confitures fait maison et aussi une sauce aux champignons trouvés directement par Roberto. Nous nous sommes retrouvés comme dans un autre monde ; il semblait d’être dans un rêve, en réveillant avec le soleil qui arrivait juste dans le lit, et en admirant la mer et la côte. Tous les lieux comme Positano, Ravello, Amalfi, Capri sont pleins de l'histoire et à quelques minutes de la villa. Suivant les chambres il y a une magnifique terrasse où nous avons dîné souvent et apprécié la beauté de l'endroit et la vue que nous voyions. Il y avait aussi un grand jardin plein de fleurs avec table et chaises où nous aimions nous assoir et cuire le poisson frais sur le barbecue. On pouvait garés très facilement, même lorsque nous rentrions tard par les excursions. Pour arriver rapidement à la Villa, insérez-vous sur le navigateur : Villa Matilde Amalfi Tovere Saint-Pierre. Elle est à 10 minutes en voiture d'Amalfi. Merci encore à Roberto et Anna Maria pour ce séjour unique. Nous nous revoyons bientôt, sure!

Great spot!

We had a great week staying in this clean, well maintained and well equipped apartment. It was a good base for exploring the Amalfi coast and seeing the sites of Pompeii, Herculaneum and Vesuvius. Roberto (the owner) was very helpful, providing breakfast for our first morning and a lovely bottle of white wine, made from his own grapes. He went beyond our expectations by kindly offering to take the payment of our parking fine to the post office for us after we left! We left clutching some home grown Amalfi lemons and some wonderful memories of Italy. We'd happily visit the area and stay at the apartment again.
