About this property

Zennor Moorland Studio, Peaceful, Private, Near Beaches, Coast Path, Sleeps 2/4

Zennor Studio is situated in Cornwall's West Penwith in the hamlet of Towednack. West Penwith is the South West tip of England leading to Land's End and The Isles of Scilly. We are surrounded by sea and moorland, rugged cliffs and beaches. We are 2 miles from Zennor and 3 miles from St Ives. The South West coast path runs around the entire peninsula. There are magnificent walks, birdwatching, surfing, activities for children including swimming, horse riding and rock climbing. Once a sculptor's Studio the accommodation has been converted with imagination. It is peaceful, light, and open plan, in the midst of moorland, close to the sea and yet close to all the amenities of St Ives. A major prehistoric site, Zennor Quoit is 20 minutes walk from the Studio with stunning sea views. A place to paint, read, relax and enjoy.

A little tired
Having survived the interesting approach lane to the Studio we found a quiet and quite comfortable little hideaway. The sleeping arrangements required a certain amount of agility to access the upper bedroom and an acceptance of being woken very early by the absence of any curtains or blinds. The major concern, however, was the state of the electrics as indicated by the lack of working lights in both kitchen and sitting areas due to the absence of bulbs in the broken bayonet fittings !! What was of equal concern was that when this was pointed out the gardener, rather than an electrician, was called in to replace the fittings. Despite this the Studio offers a convenient staging point from which to explore this delightful part of the country though not for anyone unsure of their footing .

Ruhige Urlaubstage garantiert
