About this property

Our cottage has rustic charm in a woodsy setting, yet less than a mile to the beach and 4 blocks to coffee and breakfast at Nani's. The vaulted pine great room has a woodburning fireplace. The kitchen has vintage beadboard cabinetry with handy island for food preparation or buffet. The screened porch provides an outdoor dining space.
The master bedroom has a modern queen-sized bed, an adjacent bath with new, large shower, and a sitting room. The house sleeps six; the second bedroom has two twin beds, and the third has bunk beds. The second bathroom has a shower and washer/dryer. A den is equipped with a DVD player and games.
We have an outdoor fire area, a Weber gas grill and basketball hoop for your use.

Great get away

Second time we have stayed at this house. We just love it. The house is comfortable and cozy and only .8 mile to public access to the lake. It has a great screened porch that is totally secluded. Great for morning coffee or wine in the evening. We will be back for sure

Good location to visit Chicago or the beach

Large and clean space good size for the 4=adults and two teens. Great location to either spend time at the nearby beaches or a quick trip to Chicago. large dining space for meals. Nice shower in master suite.

Fun Family Vacation

Quiet neighborhood and a lovely house with everything we needed for staying in or going down to the beach. Karen was super responsive before and during our stay. We enjoyed our time.

Girls Weekend

The cottage is adorable, clean and comfortable. Very cozy and spacious. Love the rustic vibe. It has everything you need and more. The beach is beautiful and easy to get to. Our purpose was a fun, relaxing weekend and we achieved that goal. We will be back thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.

We live in the Chicago area, and love the proximity and all that Harbor Country has to offer. Our grandchildren love to come to our Michigan cottage and the beach!

Why they chose this property

We bought our cottage 10 years ago, and have fallen in love with the area - close to the beach, walking distance to corner shops, art galleries, wineries and now breweries, as well as good restaurants and good friends. We hope you enjoy the area, and are happy to help you find things you enjoy.

What makes this property unique

We immediately loved the wooded setting, and the feeling of being away from home. The cottage is rustic with lots of pine, and has a relaxed feel - which makes it a great get-away.
