Remember there is no "BRIDGE" to Daufuskie. Your adventure would start with a choice of Private boat or ferry to Daufuskie. There is land transportation that would take you to your condo. Of course to get around the island you would need a golf cart which is included.. This 2 bedroom/2bath Villa is located in the Melrose Plantation. Daufuskie Island is accessible only by boat! The Villa is a short 250 ft walk to beach. The Villa has two bedrooms very nicely decorated, one king with en suite bath with huge shower & spa tub. Second bedroom, two queens and ensuite bath with double vanity, both have tv & mini fridge & private entrances. The Villa and especially it's kitchen are well stocked so you can enjoy your vacation.. Enjoy coffee and breakfast on the your own private screened porch among live oaks and Spanish moss while planning your day. If you like photography, the scenery alone is worth the trip. Nature wise, you'll see tons of egrets, storks, cranes and a possible eagle here and there, and gators in the fresh water ponds. The island is a great place to explore! Very little vehicles on the island outside of golf carts, it is a walkers/runners paradise. Miles of trails with exceptional views. From the beach you will see Hilton Head Harbour Town lighthouse from one direction and Tybee Island from the other direction . This magnificent Villa on Daufuskie is the perfect place for Relaxing and making family memories! While Southern provides you an initial supply of toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, and trash bags to get you through your first 24 hours, we recommend you bring the following: Paper Towels, Toilet Paper, Trash Bags, Hair Dryer, Napkins, Condiments, Spices, Dish Washing Liquid, Laundry Soap, Coffee and Coffee Filters, and Sunscreen, Anything else you may need for your perfect vacation! Melrose Pool open is open for the season! There is a charge for entrance to pool.
