Easy access via a private keyless entry door, into a spacious and well equipped mudroom, allows total freedom for guests to come and go, and a place to stow your gear! Perfectly amazing time

Absolutely incredible time. The cleanliness was impeccable and the entire place was so comfy. Like being at home. Ann and Kevin were great hosts. We loved the location. So close to everything, yet so quiet and peaceful. Can't wait to go back again next year!

My story

We like being close to arborvitae and Minocqua. When we got great access to the snowmobile trails, you can get wherever you wanna go from there. The views from the Chadwick house are fantastic!

Super Pleasant Ski Trip

This property was outstanding. The check-in process was excellent. Kevin, met us and did a quick walk through to show us a few things such as how to use the gas fireplace. There were lots of thoughtful aspects, such as conveniently located hooks for hanging up clothes and towels. Kevin and Ann even left us a box of cookies and a jigsaw puzzle as gifts under a cute Christmas tree. The apartment is the second floor of their house, but we never saw or heard Kevin or Ann during our stay so it seemed totally private. It was nice to know they were nearby and available if needed (we didn't need to contact them). We were able to knock on their door and say a personal thank you and goodbye as we left. We'd highly recommend this property.

Quick getaway

We had a fabulous time. The house was warm and inviting. It had everything we needed and more. Kevin was always quick to respond to any questions. And we were able to check in earlier than expected which was a blessing! We can’t wait to go back in warm weather to enjoy the lake and outside space! Thanks for a delightful get away!!

Why they chose this property

Our home is unique in that when it was built in 1948 for two families (brother/sister) to manage what at the time was known as Little Arbor Vitae Resort. Both floors are completely self-sufficient with full kitchens, bathrooms, and three bedrooms [each]. It is a one-of-a-kind rental property that needs to be seen to be fully appreciated!

Since our purchase of the home, we have continued to renovate and upgrade the home. We are striving to make it as comfortable as possible for all who pass through our doors.

We are surrounded by great hunting, fishing, bicycle & hiking trails, snowmobiling, snowshoe hiking, and cross-country skiing areas. We are right off of Hwy 70, yet tucked in on a beautiful lake, for that genuine rural country feel and experience. The sunrises and sunsets are amazing.

What makes this property unique

This 2 acre property has the only private boat launch on the lake. Docks and trailer parking provided at no charge!

Stay "home" and enjoy unlimited outdoor activities--stroll along the lake, enjoy a fire, play yard games, take a bike ride or a jaunt in a kayak. More adventure? Take a short day trip to nearby waterfalls and other lakes.
