About Sharron & Jon
We purchased The Priory this year as we visit Westward Ho! every year and have fallen in love with this bustling little seaside village. We have family in ‘The Ho!’ and would like to retire here one day so it made perfect sense. As soon as we saw the large, Victorian door of this gorgeous apartment I was sold! We are currently undertaking some interior refurbishment work ready for our first guests in Summer 2018! Any queries regarding bookings, etc please feel free to email us or follow us on Facebook for special offers! (The Priory - Westward Ho!)
Sharron & Jon purchased this Apartment in 2017
Why Sharron & Jon chose Westward Ho!
After looking at lots of various properties and feeling nothing I was surprised how this property grabbed me as soon as I saw the front door! As the door swung back I could see the full width of the apartment; straight through to the views of turquoise sky and rolling waves of the beach from the large lounge bay window. Sold!
What makes this Apartment unique
The Priory is an unusual and totally unique home, being converted from a huge Victorian villa. It has oodles of charm and original features and it really felt like Home as soon as we walked in. The stunning sea views were just the icing on the cake! Come and see for yourself - you’ll never want to go home...

Lovely holiday flat
We had a great week at the Priory. The view across the bay is amazing. The flat has everything that you need, the kitchen is big and well provisioned. It was really clean and we appreciated the scones, jam and clotted cream on arrival. We had a day out at the Ultimate Adventure Centre nearby and really enjoyed a couple of days at the beach. We would definitely recommend it and will be staying again.
A lovely property close to all amenities
We had a lovely stay here. The property is done up beautifully and we could walk to the beach and restaurants. We visited the big sheep during our stay which the kids loved. I would recommend this property to others.
A 5 minute walk into the village will give you access to The Co-operative & Tesco express for your groceries. Asda & Morrison’s are a 5 minute drive. There’s an atm at Tesco’s. There are several cafes, a fish and chip shop, restaurants and pubs all located in walking distance. There’s a Chinese takeaway / eat in, hairdressers, pharmacy and bakery also in The Village. Along the promenade there are various amusement arcades and attractions. Royal North Devon Golf Club is approx 1 mile along the promenade and a drive into Bideford town takes about 5 minutes where you’ll find a good mix of local, independent shops and well known high street brands plus plentiful cafes and eateries. Bikes can be hired at The Old Bridge and you can safely cycle the cycle paths of the Tarka Trail, stopping off for a huge sausage butty or Devon cream tea at the Fremlington Cafe en route. Lots to see and do in every direction!
