About this property

Mandolata - private garden. Covered terrace. A/C.

Ground floor apartment in a renovated farmhouse with private garden and shared pool. Excellent position, not far from Lucca and close to a restaurant/pizzeria. WiFi, A/C.

The farmhouse has been recently restored and divided into eight units of which only a few are habitually utilized. The house is surrounded by beautiful nature in one of Lucca's wine regions "Colline Lucchesi" which produces excellent wines. In this area there are also a lot of olive groves used in the preparation of the famous virgin olive oil from Lucca.

The house has been restored with great care trying to preserve as much as possible of the original style. There are beamed ceilings and terracotta floors and very characteristic windows called "mandolate" (ones they were used to dry hay in the barn). The apartment is bright with big windows and French doors with access to the private garden with a furnished outdoor area and grill.

The swimming pool 12 x 6,50 mt with a varying dept of 1,30 mt to 1,70 mt is situated close to the house and it's shared with the other guests. It is completely fenced but children in or around the pool area must be under adult supervision at all times.

The apartment Mandolata is on two floors and consists of:
Big and bright living room with sofa bed, tv and kitchen corner (gas hob, oven, fridge with freezer, dishwasher, Nespresso machine). A bathroom with shower, store room with washing machine.
On the first floor there is a spacious double bed room, a bed room with twin beds with "mandolata" windows, a bathroom with shower. Air-conditioning in the bedrooms.
Private parking inside the property, heating and internet connection.
The last 450 mt to the property is gravel road.

Super god ferie

Super god ferie, meget dejlig og rummelig bolig. Skøn pool og masser af ro. Super velholdt sted. Varme anbefalinger fra os. Jeres anfalinger til blandt andet restauranter var super, fik noget fantastisk mad. Vi har kun ros. En rigtig lækker feriebolig i dejligt område hvis man kan lide fred og ro. Dejligt pool område lige ved boligen med egne solvogne. Meget fin og velholdt have. Ligger lidt uden for Lucca så bil er påkrævet. Lucca er en meget skøn by med gode spisesteder og mulighed for shopping. Mulighed for gode ture til andre byer. Cinque Terre kan varmt anbefales. Berit

Rigtig dejlig ferie i Toscana

Vi har haft en dejlig ferie i Toscana. Vi fik set rigtig meget af området, fra nord til syd mm. Vejret var lige til at ta' ud og oplevet, blandet med sol, 20 - 25 g, blæst, lidt regn og af og til overskyet, sep.vejr. Mandolata var et dejligt sted, pænt, venligt og i orden. Forøvrigt en fin lokal restaurant nærmest for enden af vejen på Via di Sant'Alessio. Alt i alt en dejlig ferie, og dejligt vi lige var heldig at møde dig, Elisabeth, da vi hentede nøglen. Vi fik lige nogle gode informationer af dig, bla at der var fejring af byens helgen med optog sammen aften som vi kom til Lucca. Skønt vi fik denne oplevelse med. Vi kunne sagtes finde på at benytte dig og dit firma igen, næste gang vi skal til Toscana og anbefaler gerne til andre. Tove

Wohlfühlen in der Toskana

Direkt am ruhigen Wald und dennoch verkehrsgünstig gelegen mit schönem Pool, der rund um die Uhr zugänglich ist. Effektiver Insektenschutz vorhanden. Funktionelle Einrichtung. Ein schöner Platz für einen Urlaub!

Erholsamer, entspannender Aufenthalt in ruhiger Umgebung

Etwa 5,6 km außerhalb von Lucca über eine einspurige Schotterstraße (letzte 300 m) erreichten wir die Wohnanlage (bestehend aus 8 Appartements) wunderbar ruhig gelegen, mitten im Grünen. Der Zugang über ein codiertes Schlüsselkästchen war problemlos. Im Haus gibt es im Obergeschoß 1 großes Schlafzimmer, ein (eher kleines) 2. Schlafzimmer (leider kann man kaum um das Bett herumgehen) und ein Bad. Das Haus ist somit für eine Familie gut geeignet, für 2 Paare eher weniger. Vermisst haben wir am Bett die Nachttischchen, um eine Uhr, ein Glas oder was auch immer abzustellen. Im Untergeschoss ist das 2. Bad, die Küche & der Wohn-Essbereich (soll weitere 1-2 Personen beherbergen - in unseren Augen unmöglich) Die Couch bietet lediglich Platz für 2 Leute, weitere Sitzgelegenheiten sind die Stühle am Esstisch (4 Stück – 1 ist bereits kaputt). Zum Glück konnten wir alle Aktivitäten draußen bestreiten. Dort ist ein großer Esstisch mit 5 passenden Stühlen + 1 Metall-Stuhl). In der Ecke steht eine gemütliche Lounge-Ecke (diese wird aber nachts von den Rasensprenklern völlig durchnässt - ein Platz zum Sichern der Polster gibt es nicht). Der Pool mit 4 (!) Liegestühlen, Abstellkästchen und Schirm ist super! Auf dem Grundstück (direkt am Haus) stehen ebenfalls ein "vermoderter" Tisch und 2 (etwas kaputte) Liegen. In der Küche ist soweit alles vorhanden, allerdings erscheint uns die Anzahl an Geschirr und Gläsern (wir haben 4 gekauft und dort gelassen) für 5-6 Personen etwas knapp. Da haben wir schon besseres erlebt. Der Kühlschrank ist groß, allerdings war bereits ein Flaschenablagefach in der Tür kaputt. Die Mülltrennung gestaltete sich schwierig, da nur 1 Mülleimer in der Küche vorhanden ist. Wir haben verschiedene Müllbeutel an’s Treppengeländer gebunden . Gerne hätten wir den Tisch (innen und außen) mit Tisch-Sets geschützt! Leider haben wir keine gefunden. Die Schlafzimmer sind mit Fliegengittern ausgestattet - leider wenig effektiv, da der Rest des Hauses für die vielen kleinen, fiesen Biester (Stechmücken) frei zugänglich ist. Trotz allem hatten wir einen tollen Urlaub und viel Spaß. Wer ein perfektes Haus haben möchte muss wohl zuhause bleiben :) Die Gastgeberin Elisabeth hat sich per Mail erkundigt, ob alles okay ist. Der Kontakt zu ihr war immer nett und professionell! Wir können das Haus (trotz kleiner Abstriche) empfehlen!
