About this property

Welcome to Garden Cottage! This former family home located on Edgewood Beach, on the east side of Seneca Lake, is the perfect spot for your Finger Lakes getaway. Located 7 miles from downtown Geneva, 30 miles from scenic Watkins Glen, and 45 minutes from Rochester and/or Syracuse. Seneca Lake is the largest and deepest of the Finger Lakes and boasts excellent trout fishing experiences. Our world-class wineries are within minutes of the house.

This cozy 3 bedroom home (2 queen beds, 2 twin beds) comes fully equipped. There is a refrigerator/freezer, stove, microwave, washer/dryer, coffee maker, and kitchen island with seating for 2. Dishes, pots/pans, silverware, and linens are provided.

The living room looks out onto Seneca Lake and has an entertainment center (with Direct TV) and dvd player. The front room includes a dining table that will seat 6-8 people.

A patio with chairs and a picnic table provides the perfect spot to sit and watch the sunset after your fun-filled day. Barbecue on the charcoal grill or enjoy a fire after dark in the fire pit. The public boat launch is a short drive and is visible from the cottage.

We can't begin to tell you how much we loved this home. This is our fourth time here, and each time is equally as wonderful as the past. The home is spotless, welcoming and the ideal place for a vacation rental in the Finger Lakes. Can't wait to return!

Weekend Get Away on the Seneca Lake

Place was very clean and furnish nicely. Always nice to have such a comfortable place. Very central to everything that we do. Love the room that has a great view of the Lake both morning and Evening.

Beautiful place. Welcoming touches all around

The bedroom view was fantastic. They did so many unexpected little extras including a candy bowl for Halloween which my girls loved. Everything that you needed was on hand. A fantastic place to stay.

Fall weekend in the Finger Lakes

Garden Cottage is a cozy home. It was very clean and well equipped with everything, and more, that we needed for our weekend stay. The hosts provided many extras to make guests more comfortable. Beautiful views of the lake and the pretty garden. Stairs to the lake are steep but had handrails and lighting.

Sweet Cottage on the Lake

Comfy, relaxing environment on a beautiful lake. This cottage was so well equipped. It does have only one bathroom. There were 6 of us but we made it work easily. We recommend staying here.
