Great location, needs management

The villa is perfectly located, a short walk to Montepulciano and two wineries. We rented the whole villa for our group and the two common areas were good for our 11 people. The bedrooms were adequate but could have used better linens. The villa needs maintenance. Many lights were out and we needed to ask a couple of times to get the heat turned on. One bathroom had no lighting over the sink for the entire week. We had food prepared for our group and the dinners were delicious. It would have been much easier for us if the management people spoke a little more English as we struggled at times to communicate. All in all, the villa met our needs but easily could have been better with a little more care.

Great location in Tuscany

I rented the Villa Incanto for 2 weeks for my family (from the US) - 7 adults and 2 young children. Overall it was wonderful to be near Montepulciano and such a lovely area of Tuscany. An advantage for an extended family is that the villa has separate units, several with kitchenettes, all with bathrooms. A disadvantage is that all the rooms open to the outside and there is no common living area for a family to spend time together. The dining/kitchen is an extension on the back of the main house, accessed by steep, uneven steps. The owners keep quarters and an admin office upstairs and are often on site. The rooms are lovely per the photos, but the mattresses and pillows are extremely hard and should be replaced. Guests with allergies should be aware that 4-5 friendly cats roam the property, inside and out, including in the dining/kitchen areas. The pool, set below the villa, has beautiful views but is treacherous for children because it has tiered ledges, including an open chlorine tank. We loved being on a farm and the many walks in the area to nearby farms and vineyards, however the enclosures at the Villa Incanto for pigs and rabbits were sadly without sunlight, cramped and foul smelling. In all this is a lovely property where some definite improvements are needed.

Wonderful Villa just outside of Montepulchiano

This property was beautiful. Two houses that offered 6 bedrooms/bathrooms, large gardens area and a pool area. Plenty of room and outdoor space. Good parking spaces as we used two 9 passenger vans. Each room had a bathroom, comfortable bed and a kitchenette area. Lots of tile. There is a large group dinning area for the 12 of us.We had two dinners arranged, which was excellent and more food than we could eat. We took a couple of wine tours which were excellent and our guides were wonderful. The pool was a bit chilly but it was late September too! Overall a very nice and comfy place.
