About this property

The Bastion Apartment is situated in the heart of the Beautiful Old Town of Menton. It is located on the 4th floor of an ancient building (no elevator) and has a breathtaking roof top terrace of 15 square meters from which you can admire 360' views from Italy to Cap Martin, and from the Alps Maritime to the beautiful Mediterranean. The apartment has just been completely renovated to high standards, in a Scandinavian white modern style still treasuring all the beautiful details of the Old Town architecture. On the first floors there are 3 bedrooms with air conditioning in every room, an ensuite bathroom in the master bedroom and a big bathroom with wash-dryer machine. On the second and top floor we have created a nice open kitchen fully equipped (dish washer, induction hob, fridge, small freezer, Nespresso machine) with a social area including sofa (convertible and can offer two more bed spaces), indoor dining table with 6 seats, TV and high speed wifi, and access to the roof top terrace that is absolutely unique in its size and location. On the rooftop terrace you can sit at least 10 people. You will see everything from Italy, Menton Old town, the mediterranean sea and Cap Martin. Here you will spend many nice sunsets sipping rosé overlooking the sea... Around the corner from the apartment you find the fresh food market of Menton. It is open every morning until 13:00. Here you can buy everything fresh from vegetables grown in the region to fish, all sorts of hams and cheeses, fruits etc. You also have lots of nice restaurants around the Old Town. Menton Garavan's long sandy beaches begin 100m away from the apartment. Here you have both public and private beaches and many nice beach restaurants.
There is a beautiful promenade alongside the coast of Menton. You can walk all the way to Italy and Monaco - we strongly recommend this as it is a very pretty walk.

**PLEASE NOTE**: The property is situated in the Medieval village of Menton, it is on the 4th floor of a building without lift, and with 54 narrow stairs. It is not suitable for anybody with mobility issues and not suitable for people with infants.

Wonderful week in paradise

We are one month into our European trip and have stayed at 10 different places so far but this has been the best by far .Yes it has 54 steps to get to the rooms and I have a broken foot so it wasn't easy but it was worth it .Lovely rooms - loads of space, well equipped kitchen and laundry and comfy beds .Then there was the outside terrace with views to die for.We stayed 6 nights and didn't want to leave .Menton is wonderful and this place is well situated between 2 great beaches .Loved it

What a view!

A beautiful property with amazing views. 5 minutes walk from the beach. Lots of lovely places to eat nearby. La Navette bus to and from Nice train station. The steps up are a killer but totally worth it for the amazing views from the terrace. Sipping wine, watching the sun set over the harbour and listening to the church bells chime. Book it...you won't be disappointed.

Très belle location en plein coeur de Menton

Une très belle location très bien placée dans le coeur de Menton. L'appartement a été rénové à neuf et est très propre et ordonné. La clim dans toutes les chambres est un gros plus en été et la terrasse est superbe. A recommander.
