Nightmare Holiday Home

Property was completely mis-represented, paid For a 2 bedroom, was given a one bedroom under false pretences. Totally unsafe, faulty electric wiring, no fire extinguishers, working fire alarms,carbon monoxide detectors. A non working smoke detector was in the unit but looked v old, usage date was removed. VRBO was notified on day 2. And only when we brought it to attention of a senior exec within the Expedia group did Vrbo respond. One month on, we still have not got our money back . Avoid this place, description and many reviews are false. It is truly the worst holiday of our lives - totally sub-standard with depression era furnishing

Lovely stay at Seaside House in Lapta, Highly recommended .

Our Family had a great stay with Berke in one of his properties. Close to lots of restaurants, bars hotels etc it’s set in some lovely gardens and has a newly installed covered area over a patio at the rear of the house giving plenty of shade as you take in the views of the mountains. Berke couldn’t do enough for us whilst we were there and sorted our transfers from Larnaca and our hire car too. We wouldn’t hesitate to book another stay here again when visiting Lapta again.

Home away from home

Have just returned from spending two weeks here at Pomegranate cottage and it never fails to disappoint. From the moment we land, we are welcomed with open arms and immediately feel at home. For the entire two weeks, it was calm and peaceful even though all the houses in the tiny estate were full. The house we stayed in was gorgeous and spacious - the views was just amazing and the weather wasn't too bad There was nothing that we could fault about Pomegranate cottage - it had everything that we needed and more The family just loved being here and were already asking when was the next time we were returning. Berke and Sibel are great and are a credit to Pomegranate cottage . The countdown is on for our next stay and we just can't wait!!!

Amazing Views

As work was being done on the one bedroom cottage, we stayed in the two bedroom bungalow, sea view. It is in a good location with mountain views to the rear and sea views to the front. We stayed here in the first week of November and the temperature was 24-27 degs. Berke and Sibel were very helpful and gave us lots of fruit from their garden. Northern Cyprus is a great place to visit, people very friendly and roads have light traffic in most places. You will need a car with lots of places to visit.

summer holiday

Mr Berke has been very hospitable and helpful throughout our stay. The villa is also great, very well-equipped , just right for an excursion to the Lapta village ,The location is great
