Want to go to Put In Bay and be in walking distance to the city beach, Jet Express, downtown , city park, Jolly Roger's and many other bars and restraunts.
Fully stocked kitchen and bathroom. We pride ourselves in offering you better than hotel accomodations with luxory linen, pillows, towels etc. (All you need to bring is your clothes and some toiletries) you have come to the right place!
Fenced in private back yard. lots of space for your dogs or kids to roam. You have your own private entrance etc.
We also provide cornhole and a hammock .
We are a , short drive to wineries and Catawba Island, short drive to the Ferry (10 min) to Kelleys Island and 7 min to Marblehead. &10 min drive to Camp Perry and short drive to the best birding.
We also offer pet sitting at a minimal charge.
We welcome almost all dogs! SORRY NO CATS.
We do ask that you submit a description of your pet including breed and size for our approval first
When booking you are agreeing to understanding description . (Please read rental agreement.)
Inside:
*2 bdrm, fully furnished and ready for you to just bring your clothes.
Can sleep up to 6 people comfortably possibly more (extra charge per night for more than 4 adults)children age 12 and up are considered adults so please when booking put them in as such.
(NOTE: weekends are Friday to sunday)
We also provide some coffee pods, 2 rolls of paper towels and2 rolls of quality toilet paper to get you started
*Ceiling fans in the living room and 1st bedroom.
*All linens are provided as well as towels, washcloths etc. (just bring yourself and your clothes)
AC unit in main room keeps the entire living area cool
*hallway is considered a common area and may have some residual smoke from outside.

*Fenced in yard with patio set, pergola, fire place (both a gas firepit and a woodburning and we provide some wood.
Grill and blackstone griddle for your outdoor cooking and relaxing without the worry of the children getting out of your sight or your dog getting away from you.
This is a split home. you have the entire 1000 square feet at the rear of the house along with private back yard to yourself. (attached to our home)
unit has its own ventilation system seperate from the owners, seperate heat and window acs.
If super sensitive to smoke, please do not book. Though there's never been smoking in the unit there has been some in hallway in the past. Have had many people with allergies stay and have never had an issue)

Disappointed

The furniture inside was worn and broken. There was a funky smell in the unit and back yard was a cubicle and full of poop and needed mowed. They said they mowed couple days before but it looked it was a month ago. It's colder now grass isn't growing that fast even with the rain. The poop was thick and poop bucket was over full. No where to put it. No we didn't complain about it until she texted us on the way home. She didn't like what I said and she kept texting the whole way home. We live 3 hours away. Finally I told her to quit harassing us then I told her we'll have to block her if she doesn't stop. Finally she did. We won't be staying there anymore. She even threatened to tell you vrbo so that we will not be able to rent off of anyone else. We saved all of the text and we have pictures of the yard. We wasn't asking for money back and we wasn't going to give her a bad review until she kept making excuses. We even found a toilet brush and plunger on top of dish towels underneath the kitchen sink. We used vrbo in the past and enjoyed the experience. And will use it again but we will never stay or recommend her again. Thank you for your time.

Location is PERFECT!

Everything was clean, towels smells good! The location was great, walking distance to a lot of activities. Pleasant hosts, as this unit is adjacent to their house.

We are 54 and 56 years young. Together for 24 years, married for 17. We have 2 dogs, an english Bulldog. Named Sir Albert, and a 3 yr old mini english bulldog named Winnie. Both are people friendly but have their own space, so they won't bother you unless you want them to.
We meet every guest upon arrival to make sure they settle in and answer any questions they may have.
We love to interact with our guests and have made friends with a few of them, but if you prefer to simply be left alone, we are available to you, only when you need us.

Why they chose this property

We love our location because it is close to the beach, close to shopping, jet express, and still a very peaceful neighborhood.

What makes this property unique

You can take a 3 to 4 minute walk to the beach for playing or sunset (we provide beach chairs and towels) or you can take a 10-15 min walk to downtown Port Clinton and browse the shops/restaraunts, or take a ride on the Jet Express for a fun day on the Island. We are also close to fishing charters if you want to catch some of those Lake Erie Perch or Walleye.
