About Emma Brookes
Myself and Emma, along with our two daughters aged 7 and 11 and our 6 rescue dogs relocated to France in May 2017 with the dream of running our own gîte business and having a simpler lifestyle. Originally from Jersey in the Channel Islands, our love of France set us on a journey which eventually brought us to Creuse, often referred to as the Lake District of France. We have spent the last year settling our children into the French school system and searching locally for a suitable gîte, somewhere that we would want to come on holiday to. So we invite you to enjoy our gîte, with its superb central location, and prepare to adventure, escape completely and discover a different world here in Creuse. There really is nowhere we would rather be! We hope you feel the same!

Why Emma Brookes chose Saint-Silvain-sous-Toulx
Superbly located in a quiet commune away from it all but conveniently just 10 minutes away from the historical towns of Boussac (with its very own famous Château) or Gouzon (with the largest Natural Nature Reserve in Limousin) The property has free WiFi and a smart TV / DVD for you and the children. We swap round the lounge and dining room in the winter so you can relax next to the open fire in the evening. We supply one free of charge basket of firewood. Extra Baskets are €4 each (November - April only)
