Beautiful hillside cottage overlooking the crystal blue waters of the Caribbean Sea and the town of Greenwood. Very spacious and cozy throughout. A ceiling fan and air conditioning will ensure you are always cool and relaxed. Spacious front porch with breathtaking views of the sunrise, coastal waters on Jamaica's north shore, and the town of Greenwood. Fully stocked and equipped kitchen, with open plan living area. Outside, there is almost an acre of space to explore, with lots of fruit trees and plants. There are also spaces for relaxing and taking in the view. This is truly your home away from home.

Authentic Jamaica!

We absolutely loved our stay at this cottage! It was sweet, intimate and perfect for our couple's getaway. It was a little tough to get to at first being on top of a hill but well worth the view! The area was walkable once we got acquainted with it. Our host MJ was friendly, helpful, and communicated well with us. Richard picked us up from the airport and was very helpful, taking us anywhere we needed to go. This place was beautiful and made a lovely retreat which we really enjoyed. We would definintely stary here again!

Pictures Not Accurate ! Beware!

As soon as we arrived, we left. There was no house number on the gate so we drove around quite some time looking for the house. The cottage side is at least 5 to 10 ft from the side entrance of this huge house immediately in front of the cottage. A woman with little kids was there. I had informed the owners that I wanted a place for my significant other and I. Not to be inclose proximity to the people in the main house! The pictures do not show the reality of the environment. oh, And the AC wasn’t working. The lady wanted us to wait for someone to get off work to fix it. if i had known that the cottage was in the shadow of a huge blue house with people with children in it, I wouldn’t have reserved. And I definitely wouldn’t have reserved a place with no AC! I’m still waiting to hear from someone from vrbo about a refund It’s been almost a week!

Sunshine Lodge

Sunshine Lodge has beautiful ocean vista views and the staff I encountered were courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. The bed was comfortable and the WiFi worked flawlessly! Ultimately I would stay here again if traveling to Jamaica!!

Super cute and private

If you’re looking for an authentic Jamaican experience, this is it! The staff were so incredibly nice and accommodating, willing to go out of their way to make us comfortable. It is quite up there on the hillside, not a negative just something to be prepared for. The view is amazing and I would love to stay here again someday!

We are a Jamaican couple who love to explore our country and meet new people. We currently live in England and travel back home every year. This property is our little slice of paradise, and we would love to share it with you, if only for a brief time.

Why they chose this property

The view. Every time we see the view, we are in awe, and you will be too. It is simply breath-taking. Whether it is sunny or rainy, whether at night or during the daytime, nothing compares. The town of Greenwood down below, and the magical Caribbean Sea stretching out as far as the eyes can see. The gentle ocean breeze wafting through the window louvres and through the many trees around the property add a soft soundtrack. The sunrise over Falmouth to the east and the sunset towards Montego in the west, along with the 180 degrees view of the horizon, complete this experience of tranquillity.

What makes this property unique

Close to amenities, beaches, and activities. Close to the airport, so arrival and departures are simple tasks. Everything you could need for a relaxing vacation packed into one great location and an amazing property.
