Great holiday and an amazing house.
Great holiday and an amazing house. Kids loved the bothy, toasted marshmallows in the fire in the fire pit. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

We had the best stay for my 50th at Garlies Lodge.
We had the best stay for my 50th at Garlies Lodge. My whole family could be together. Including our wee westie. The bothy was an unexpected bonus and the kids (and men) loved it. The owners were fab and was just at the end of the phone for contact. No WiFi was a bit of a problem-but forced us to speak to each other lol. Lodge is just adorable albeit a bit tired in places. Wouldn’t put me off going back which we plan to do. Highly recommended if your looking for an escape from the real world as you are literally in the middle of nowhere. Was just perfect for a 2 day stay x

A great property for large groups (we had 10 people during our week - average 8).
A great property for large groups (we had 10 people during our week - average 8). Great for older children/young adults - especially if they are into mountain biking and walking. Good for dogs except there is no gate on the drive. No wi-fi and limited mobile phone signal (vodafone ok with 4G). Games room (pool, darts, etc) is great as is barbecue areaand veranda all round allows you to follow the sun! Newton Stewart near by with good supermarkets. Very peaceful setting and well maintained - a property with real character and space to relax.
