La Signora is spectacular

La Signora is a stunning property in the medieval centre of Morciano di Leuca. it has been tastefully and sympathetically restored while retaining its original character and features. We loved the artistic flourishes which characterised the property - the tiling, the taps and the interesting quirks. It has a fantastically well provisioned kitchen and dining room, alarge library and billiard room and two roof terraces - one with a large shaded table for al fresco dining. The roof terraces are decorated with bouganvillia, jasmine and dramatic catci. There is a herb garden in the courtyard where honey bees come to drink from the moss. We also loved the terracota pool and the womderful underground spa plunge pools which are perfect for cooling off after a day in the heat. The town is lively in the evening and has great restaurants, pizzerias and bars. Treat yourselves, book a stay here and you will be enchanted when you open La Signora’s old green doors.

Amazing experience in a unique setting

We were two families with 5 teenagers. We loved this place and highly recommend it to all those looking for a unique experience. It is an ancient house that has been beautifully restored, preserving its original nature and charm. It's not modern but it is fully equipped and functional. It is perfectly equipped - very well-furnished kitchen, air-conditioning everywhere, a dedicated TV/entertainment room, jacuzzi etc - and offers great outdoor spaces for chill-out and dining, including three terraces. Bedrooms and bathrooms are independent, offering great privacy. The host is very responsive, with plenty of useful advice on what to do. The location (Morciano) is a nice village, with necessary shops and services, and is perfect to explore the Salento. It is very close to both the Ionian and Adriatic beaches and at short distance from amazing towns such as Lecce, Otranto and Gallipoli. Highly recommended.

Property was fantastic! Very charming and unique.

Overall experience was wonderful. The villa was very unique and historical, yet had all modern conveniences. Just one suggestion regarding the keys - multiple keys for the interior glass doors would be a little more convenient.
