Brilliant Stay in a Wonderful Apartment

We booked this apartment several months prior to our departure date with a view that it looked wonderfully presented by photographs on the website and it would satisfy our needs for the month long stay. On applying via the website for our booking, the owner (Maria) immediately responded and confirmed our booking dates were acceptable and that payment in Euros was to be made in full at time of booking. The booking and payment was made per instructions and we received full confirmation. Overall, the booking and confirmation process was seamless throughout with no negative issues. Maria and Home Away updated our booking details prior to our arrival date and at a Pre-determined time before arrival, Maria sent us information about the apartment and having sent our passport details in advance, she sent us key code details to access the apartment keys from a secure key box fitted on the wall outside of the apartment. Although Maria speaks very little English, she translates all your enquiries and responds very quickly back to you in English. For this reason, she requests all correspondence is via email or WhatsApp. Neither presented us with an issue. On our arrival at end of January, we accessed the apartment complex and got lift. We found our apartment in seconds and followed the instruction we had been given to access the keys. We entered the apartment and the first thought was it looks exactly as per the photos that had been posted on the website. It was spotlessly clean and very well presented. Maria had provided us with some basic foodstuffs such as bread, milk, jam, butter, fruit juice, bottled water, coffee and tea bags and a fruit basket. In addition to these, Maria also had other household provisions such as cleaning materials, toilet rolls, cling film, tin foil, washing up liquid, kitchen roll, washing machine capsules and softener. Spare towels and bedding were also provided. We had the opportunity to meet both Maria and her husband on our third day at the apartment. They are a lovely couple who want to ensure you have a wonderful stay. The apartment complex itself was quiet and we had no issues with neighbours throughout our stay. There is a bar/restaurant on the ground floor. Overall, we had no issues with the apartment itself And had a brilliant stay. Dropped a star on the location due to noise coming from Irish Bar on other side of main road, which closes about 4a.m. Take ear buds if not used to noise.
