LOCATION

The village of Mawgan Porth has become a holiday hotspot in recent years sitting on the rugged North Cornwall coastline between the surfing town of Newquay and the foodie fishing town of Padstow made famous by celebrity chef Rick Stein.

The village plays host to a range of family light entertainment including the Donkey Derby races during the school holiday months of July and August, the famous annual duck race where hundreds of yellow plastic ducks vie with each other to see who can reach the beach bridge first!

There is good food and ale served up at the Merrymoor pub and at the Bedruthan Steps Hotel or at Scarletts take a soothing treatment and a relaxing spa.
