Ashford House
The house is large and comfortable for families. It is up on a hill and the view is wonderful. Plenty of space for children to play. The kitchen could use some upgrades, however, as the chef knives are dull, even after an attempt to sharpen them. It could use some extra small appliances, like a food processor. We were disappointed that our request for one night full refund was denied after our personal plans changed. We did not see the “7-day requirement for July and August” in website. Only a small amount was offered as refund. But our time there was very pleasant and we will all have good memories of our stay.

Definitely our home away from home
Perfect house for our first visit to Ireland! The kids loved playing basketball and soccer in the backyard. It was 20 minutes from some major attractions and only a few hours in the car to many other cities. We loved it!

We bought the house in 2006 celtic tiger and lived in it as a family home. We moved out in 2019 and put the house on the market. We were unable to sell it. The rock outside the back door was within 3 foot of the house. Starting at 8 foot up to the upper garden. We excavated it to put down a garden. We also completely renovated the house, rewired, plumbed and made it more energy efficient with bore holes and a geothermal heat pump.
