It was great
We enjoy the cabin very much, just a little unconvinced about the windows blinds for full privacy. Other than that, overall good place for family.

Great place for a larger family
The cabin was in a perfect location, within walking distance to the new Big Bear Zoo. Great space for a larger family, but there is only one bathroom. Older TV's, so make sure to bring plenty of games and puzzles vs settling in for Netflix. Nice and quiet area. FYI the stove is a vintage one, so if you are bringing pre-made food from home, make sure you don't have a huge pan/dish or it won't fit.

Ponderosa Cabin
The cabin is cute and in a great location. The front yard was fun for my kids to play in and it was a short walk to a hiking and sledding area. The zoo is very close, but unfortunately was closed. The house was cute and we enjoyed all the antiques. We did leave at night rather than spend one more night and leave in the morning. The beds were hard and uncomfortable. I think if they bought some memory foam mattress toppers it would make a huge difference. It would have been much more convenient to have a lock box with the key on the property. It was a drive across town to pick up and drop off the key.
