Overall a good experience, a few things need attention
Ideally I would give this 3.5 stars out of 5, but VRBO doesn't allow 1/2 stars
I stayed at this property in mid August 2023 with my family, 9 of us in total.
The check-in process was super easy, we had gotten the door code in advance. There was plenty of room for us to gather in the third floor kitchen and living area, but there was also enough room where we could also spread out for some quiet time.
The property is located about 1/4 mile of a walk from the beach. We used a beach set-up service, so the walk is not bad if you're bringing a beach towel and a backpack, but I think it would be more challenging if you were lugging a lot of gear.
There is a community pool and sand volleyball court. They appeared to be in great shape and not overly crowded. We did not use either. We did use the hot tub a lot during the morning, and at night. It was a really nice amenity to have, and it was located near enough the exterior patio seating that a conversation could be had between those in the hot tub and those choosing to sit outside. There is also a lawn area which is just barely long enough for a few games of cornhole.
Although as a whole, the property is roomy and generally clean, there are were a few things that needed attention that were not attended to during our stay. Most of these were minor, but the most irksome was the grill. The grill had not been cleaned and was full of grease and flies. It is unsalvagable and should not be listed as an amenity.
