Impressive twin catalpa trees adorn the front lawn of this house which resides on a quiet street in a family neighborhood in Ridgeland, Mississippi. This property also boasts a double carport and a large back yard, with a covered patio. Inside you will find a large dine-in kitchen, new memory foam mattresses, and a dash of retro flare. The living room features a 55" smart TV. I have owned the house for over fifteen years.

Great Long-Term Rental in a Kid-Friendly Neighborhood!

I chose this property for a long-term rental close to where my family lived so we could have a place of our own while doing online school and for quarantining prior to a long term visit with relatives. We loved staying in this property, it was PERFECT and HOMEY for two kids and an adult needing a three-week rental. Convenient location, nice neighborhood, big backyard. Beds were comfy. I felt very much at home here. I enjoyed the nostalgia of an older ranch house/ neighborhood. The catalpa trees in the front are really fun - they really attract birds and critters. They are the exclusive host tree for the sphinx moth, the larvae of which are the best fishing bait ever according to my dad! I also loved all the birds I saw - titmouse, nuthatch, woodpecker, chickadee, robin, bluejay, and toe hee. The original artwork throughout the home added a great touch to the personality of the house. Jess the property manager/owner (?) was responsive to our requests and that was much appreciated. Hope others enjoy the Catalpa House as much as we did! Would rent again.
