Katerini city is strategically located along the Thessaloniki–Athens highway GR-1/E75 and Mount Olympus, home of ancient Greek Gods is located 20 kilometers from the apartment; there are several historic sites such as 5th Century BC ancient city of Dion (17 kilometers); the Castle of Platamon and the ancient Leivithra (27 km away).
