Escaping summer crowds

A wonderfull little cottage that had all we needed. Lovely rural outlook. Good central location to the islands attractions. The beautiful cove of West River was close by. Much enjoyed Michael and Eileen

More help would have been nice

No details about road conditions...leading to cabin which were poor. No details of area and facilities in cabin or how to work tv. No scissors. Poster saying respect owners privacy but it was ok for them to send drone up to check on us. Disappointed.

An enjoyable stay at a beautiful but remote location

A really enjoyable stay at a very remote beautiful location. Make sure your vehicle can handle many km of dirt road to get there.

Western River paradise

A dawn walk to overlook the Western River cove, the colours of the dawn as an encore. Spectacular dusk to end a day of exploring the delights of the island. A week of peace and pleasure.

We are primarily running the fishing charter business "Kangaroo Island Fishing Adventures" and my partner built the cabins 20 years ago to accommodate our customers. However we wanted to open up to other tourists as well as we are one of very few operators out west on KI so we renovated the cabins over the winter. We hope this way more tourists will explore the wild west and see the beautiful and pristine nature we are living in!
