Forest Edge is situated in a tranquil location with the best of both worlds, spectacular views of the Hazards Mountains and Honeymoon Bay from the expansive front deck and most rooms, with a rear deck facing the native eucalypt forest adjoining the Freycinet National Park.
Native orchids grow just beyond the back door and wallabies and the local birdlife are regular visitors. There are hiking, mountain biking and 4WD tracks in the forest and it is a 10 minute walk to the town centre and the beach.
Forest Edge has a large open plan living area incorporating dining and lounge facilities and a modern kitchen with quality appliances. Floor to ceiling windows open onto the front deck making the most of the stunning vista, and a heat pump keeps it cosy throughout the year. There are four bedrooms and two bathrooms over two levels that can sleep up to eight people (two queen size beds, a double bed and a single bunk bed and single bed). The house is suitable for couples or families and there are games and books for adults and children to enjoy.

Absolutely loved the property and the tranquility of the beautiful native bush all around, and those spectacular views of the hazards. Great location close to the national park and town. Will definitely be back
The property has one of the best situations and views of all of Coles Bay. It was exceptionally clean and the beds were very good. Everything needed is provided. Unfortunately it was very wet and misty much of the time, but that is life. We will come back one day when the weather is better.
The washing machine was broken, and this needs attending to urgently.
The check-in process involves receiving the entry code by text, which we didn't receive until ten minutes after the due check-in time, and just moments before we arrived, which caused some anxiety.

Lovely view!
We stayed with a few friends over a weekend and thoroughly enjoyed everything the house had to offer. The open plan living space has excellent views over the Hazards and was warm and comfy. The kitchen, which was well stocked with quality cookware, and the BBQ area made it a pleasure to prepare shared meals. A perfect place to stay within close proximity to the beaches of Coles Bay and the National Park.

Amazing place.
This house surpassed our expectations. Magnificent views of the Hazards from the front veranda, the lounge room and main bedroom, and from the bbq deck at the back you can walk straight into the forest with plenty of trails to run, and possums and wallabies to spot. The house itself is just wonderfully finished with a superb kitchen with plenty of crockery and cutlery. The beds are so comfy and the towels big and fluffy. A wonderful, luxurious stay in this truly beautiful part of Tasmania.
