Mullumbimby Rural Escape - Harry's Place

Welcome to Harry's Place, a quaint little cottage nestled in the pristine countryside of a Northern NSW farm. Whether you're chasing a break from the hustle and bustle of a busy life, a romantic getaway, Harry's Place is a perfect getaway for couples and small families.

The property is situated on the Main Arm tributary of the Brunswick River in the heart of the beautiful Brunswick Valley, 5 minutes from Mullumbimby on 200 acres of pristine farmland. Byron Bay is only 20 minutes away, Brunswick Heads 15 minutes and 50 minutes to the Gold Coast Airport.

Harry's is a 100sqm open plan cottage nestled in amongst trees and overlooks the cattle grazing on the lush green pastures and meandering creeks. The dwelling offers full kitchen facilities, dining, lounge area, day beds (which convert to two single beds), a plush king size bed on an elevated platform, bathroom with double head shower and a fireplace for those cooler nights in winter. The large 130sqm deck wraps two sides of the living area, shaded by trees and gardens and overlooks the fully fenced swimming pool and fire pit. There is a second toilet in the laundry off the carport.

Harry's is a family run Farm. The cottage is situated 100 meters from other buildings on the property so your complete privacy is guaranteed. If you choose to be a little active, your hosts are willing to show you around the property. This will be by arrangement only, so please make sure you contact us in regards to this prior.

Mullumbimby is a unique little town with a diverse and alternate community where the locals are anything but dull. Resting at the foot of Mt Chincogan the town and its surrounding areas has many attractions from music festivals like Falls, Splendour and Bluesfest , carnivals, markets, cafes, restaurants, iconic pubs like Ma Rings at Billinudgel, The Bruns Pub and Beach Hotel at Byron or you could even take the back track over the mountain to Uki. Our beaches are up there with the best in the world with chalky white sand, great surfing, fishing, kayaking, dolphins and whale watching.

The Dream
This place was truly an oasis. We sink in and soaked up every minute of the house itself and the surrounds. In addition Bronwyn was awesome to deal with which only added to the perfect getaway . Thanks again for hosting us. We would love to return if possible.

The Brunswick Valley is such a beautiful area and our property is situated in the heart. You will experience the best, rural living not far from our beautiful coastal beaches and rivers that Brunswick Heads and Byron Bay have to offer with the backdrop of the coastal hinterland.

In summer you will enjoy the outdoor living on the extensive deck overlooking the pool and cattle grazing on pastures.
In winter you will enjoy the warmth of the indoor fire place and the outdoor fire pit on those cool winter nights.
