About this property

We are a private residence on acreage, in a quiet area, about 20km from the nearest town. Mount Barker has a few Cafe's and other places to eat, but most of them are closed in the evening. The Supermarket is open to 6pm.
Telstra 4G has the best coverage in the area. There are a couple of places to eat in the village, but have limited opening days. There are many walking tracks and winery's in the area.
There is a parking area next to a private entrance leading to a bedroom with en-suite and queen size bed.
There is a kitchenette with a fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave, hot-plate, cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery. We supply coffee, tea, sugar, jams and can provide bread and milk of your choice.
Dusk and Dawn there maybe Kangaroo's about, please drive carefully.

Relaxing and peaceful stay in the heart of the Porongorups

This property was one of the nicest I've ever stayed at. It was very clean and thoughtfully appointed with everything I required for a most pleasant stay. I enjoyed waking up to kangaroos right outside my porch and watching the bird life. I was also frequently visited by the resident chickens. I thoroughly enjoyed this countrified experience. Even though the property is out in the countryside, it was an easy drive to all the attractions in the Porongorups and out to the Stirlings. Ironwood Winery is close by and the owners there are lovely, accommodating people. My hosts afforded me complete privacy but were approachable if I needed anything. Thank you so much, Martyn and Sonja, for a wonderful stay. I would love to return.

Loved our stay
