This property has undergone thoughtful updates, featuring sleek granite countertops in both the kitchen and bathroom. The entire condo boasts tile floors so it is easy to keep clean. The kitchen boasts a full-size refrigerator, microwave, and stove top, offering the opportunity to cook some of your own culinary creations. Stocked with all the necessary utensils, pots, and pans, it invites you to concoct some of your easy meals.

Sink into the plush comfort of the new couch which can be used as a sleeper sofa too as you unwind and watch TV in the living area, or indulge in relaxation in bed with the flat screen TV thoughtfully provided in the bedroom. On-site laundry facilities are conveniently located on the pool level, making your stay a seamless one.

Outdated!

It's been mentioned in other reviews that they leave no dish soap so bring your own! This unit needs updating! The carpet is filthy in the bedroom. The old wood paneling smells. The curtains are way past needing to be replaced! The air never gets cold! Other units are in much better condition for the same price!

Insufficient essentials - only 1 roll of tp, no dish soap but plenty of dishwasher soap - no dishwasher!No place to unpack clothing.

Disappointed

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family has stayed at Beach Cove for years. We enjoy the location, amenities and atmosphere. I'd read prior reviews for #421 but expected the typical Beach Cove experience. This room needs a few updates. The beds were horrible. It was like sleeping on plywood. I thought I'd move to couch but that was just as bad. Bottom line, there is no comfortable furniture in this unit. My wife and I actually considered going out and buying a blow up mattress. The kitchen chairs are also about to fall apart as stated in a prior review. Some of the outlets are also falling off the wall. Investing a little to upgrade these things would make a tremendous impact for future guests!!! Even with these room issues, Beach Cove is a great property and location. We'll most likely stay here again, just not sure it will be in #421.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was nice. It was clean and had been recently updated. However, the resort was disappointing. It was in serious need of repair and routine maintenance. The common areas (pool, elevators, hallways, bathrooms) were dated and worn. There were numerous leaks throughout the resort with the main bridge to the parking garage closed due to water damage and heavy leaks. Only about half of the outdoor showers from the beach were working. The elevators were breaking down throughout the week. If I were an owner I would ask for a thorough accounting of how my HOA fees were being spent and for a detailed preventative maintenance plan. Either the HOA fees are not sufficient or they are not being properly managed. This is very unfortunate as we have been staying at Beach Cove for over 20 years and the resort is now at the point where will be looking at other options for our family vacations.
