Second stay was as good as the first

This property was just as good as last year. The cleanliness, the location and the ease of dealing with the property manager is so easy . This year the towels were lovely and new!! The weather was the only thing that wasn’t as good as last year !! We will be back next year 😀

Everything about this place was perfect. It was so well equipped, so clean and a perfect location It is way more spacious than it looks on the photos The cleanliness was the stand out Thanks and we will be back

Great wee place just off the beach

A really comfortable cottage just a few metres from the beach (and the pub!) Lovely and tidy. Recommend.

We, Margaret and Carrick are retirees living in Waiwera and spend our recreational time boating, fishing and gardening. We needed a sheltered garden allotment away from the damaging on shore winds. We bought the cottage from the Pat Nelson Estate which had it as a rental property. The garden was fenced off and then we upgraded the cottage making it available for short term rentals. Our gardening passion is well looked after. We have an amazing compost system, we collect seaweed, locals give us their fish skeletons, neighbours donate their food scraps, Carrick mows lawns for the church and neighbours as he needs lawn clippings and lo and behold we have this amazing black gold for our garden. We have family, three children in their forties and four grandchildren all living less than thirty minutes away. We just love Waiwera and rarely leave here as we feel we are on holiday every day.
