Private bed and breakfast studio in Himatangi Beach, New Zealand

Separate from the main dwelling, catering for up to two people. You can lie in bed and look out onto a sub-tropical private garden. On a still night, you can hear the ocean which is only 600 metres away or you can take in the southern night sky. If you need to get away and recharge, then you have come to the right place.

Continental Breakfast included in the room rate. Tea and coffee making facilities. You are welcome to use the BBQ (we can provide plates/cutlery). On-site parking available.

Himatangi Beach residents are down to earth and always enjoy a chat either down at the local Cosmopolitan Club, General Store/Takeaways or fishing on the beach.

holiday in a cyclone
Very easy to find, clean and tidy the outside of the property was well set up for a sunny environment but being on the edge of Cyclone Gabrielle we needed to seek shelter, the property was well placed to visit Palmerston North and Foxton. We had come from our home locality in Hawke's Bay and seeing the TV coverage and having reports of relatives stranded and unable to return we decided to cut our holiday short,I must say this was no fault of Michelle and Tim our hosts as they were vey helpful and welcoming.The local Cossie club was very good and lived up to their motto of "arrive as strangers leave as friends" to sum up we had an English seaside holiday too much rain, which is why they all go to Spain,Italy, anywhere but the UK.

Absolutely perfect
We were there for a week and it was great, we had business and pleasure on the agenda and it fitted in well. Fabulous hosts that are happy to accomodate. Will definately stay again.

Really enjoyed staying in the unit, everything you needed was there, the garden outlook was delightful, host's were a pleasure to talk with, had mutual interests. We both loved the dog.
