Stunning stay on the beach

Our stay at this property was wonderful. The space is a bit larger than expected, based on photos. With a group of five adults (two per bedroom and one on the pull-out), we had enough space to be comfortable and spread out our luggage. The pool and outdoor dining space are the highlights. The pool has a deep end that makes it extra refreshing. Cleaning came mid-week which was much appreciated. The location is ideal, situated near a beautiful beach with a beach club, nice restaurant, and cafe. Myrina is a 20-minute drive making this ideal if you want more privacy with access to the rest of the island via car. Note that while the house can sleep six, there is a 25€ fee per extra per night if you have more than four guests.

The home nestles between a lovely mountain range and the sea in settlement of Agios Ioannis (saint Ioannis). Agios Ioannis boasts its own beach adorned with a charming chapel perched upon a small cave by the sea. Known for its crystal-clear waters, the area is surrounded by a plethora of beaches to suit all tastes, from the secluded to the more ‘feisty’ that offers wind and kite surfing lessons. The quintessential beachside tavernas are naturally part of the scene.

Quite a few places of interest, the cave of Filoktiti, Falakro (impressive rock formations), and Hephaistia (ancient site) also surround the area and are worth visiting. Lastly, the rumors are true. The location offers the most sensational sunset show on the island.
