Beautiful house with very few amenities

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Quality Has Gone Downhill

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House was spacious, and the kitchen had everything you would need and was stocked with a lot of plates, silverware, dishes, etc. Microwave only worked sporadically. Oven does not heat properly, stays about 50° less than what you set it for. Living room sofa needed to be cleaned, cushions had several stains. None of the clocks had fresh batteries - so none of those worked. All of the doors need to be greased, they’re very loud & creaky. Check the pool on your first day, ours hadn’t been vacuumed or cleaned & had algae & leaves in the bottom corners. There is a pool skimmer, but ours had a hole in the net. All of these are maintenance issues I should not have to call the rental company about when we’re there. They only supply 2 towels per bathroom that have a shower, so even though the house slept 12, we only had 8 shower towels. When I inquired for additional towels, I was told they do not supply additional towels. Towels are not provided based on the number of ppl the home sleeps, but on the number of bathrooms. It was embarrassing to have to explain that to our guests. There is one trial size set of shampoo, conditioner & soap per bathroom - again not supplied based on the number of ppl staying or the length of your stay. You also need to request bedding for the pull-out sofas if those will be used. Only 2 dishwasher pods & 3 trash bags are provided. Those items should be supplied based on the size of the home & length of the stay. The pool towels are a very low-quality microfiber-like material that doesn’t dry you off. We stayed in Margaritaville when it first opened, and the quality of the overall stay has greatly deteriorated for how much you pay. I think you can rent a large house that is nicer and save a lot of $$$. There are newer resorts with better amenities that are much more affordable.

clean house but dirty pool.
