Sleepers are dreamers ~ share our dreams. Wine tasting is fun, the vineyard is our passion. The cottage also shares our dreams - relaxing, colourful and bespoke. Our life gets a bit full on at times, like most people these days. It always surprises me how nature and the beauty around refreshes the soul. It is all here for the taking. We love our animals, come and meet our Kune Kune pigs Porsha, Penelope and Louis, also our Gotland sheep with their amazing coloured wool, free range hens and Vincent the rooster and the pond full of Pekin ducks. Listen to the birds morning and evening song.
Why Lynne chose Kekerengu
Situated on Sleepers Vineyard with a past life as Kekerengu Station Altitude 42 S and Longitude 174 E. Perfect for walking and relaxing. Bring your dog, free to walk off the lead and see views that make a worthy walk, outdoor baths to relax, that is what we are about. We have Cobs built in 1860 now are fully restored. The former Kekerengu Station Head shepherd's cottage is where our tasting room and cellar door is found, and the former Kekerengu Station Dining Room/Bunkhouse, which could sleep up to 36 shearers is now home to our Sensory Overload experience, with candles, crystal glasses and fun with wine pairing, let us wow you. Bring your bikes or use ours, ride through the vines. Enjoy your own spot down near the gentle Kekerengu river or walk up to our own Oriental Bay. Come and enjoy my happy places.
What makes this Cottage unique
