71 By the Bay is one of the few remaining original Queenslander homes left in this iconic bay side location. The house is over 100 years old and has been lovingly restored with a Hampton's inspired décor.
We have done our best to make your stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible. Located a short walk from the iconic Redcliffe Jetty, Shops, Restaurants, Cafes and the Bee Gee Way.

Disappointed

I booked this accommodation for 6 people. I put this in my booking at the time. Yes 6 people can sleep here however 6 people can’t sit and have dinner at the table as there is only room for 4. Also nowhere in the advertisement when I booked did it say that the booking was ONLY for the upstairs part of the house. The owners live downstairs, in the afternoon the owner was trimming hedges and doing some painting. The next morning we could also hear them downstairs. We were extremely disappointed. The advertisement is deceiving.

Fantastic Stay

Very impressed with house, Elizabeth was fantastic. Allowed our grandchildren to stay at property with us and even had some bedfing for them. The house was amazing and lication fantastic

Elizabeth+7 friends and stay there yourself with exactly what u supply.No going down for what u need

No mention of the large flight of stairs into the property, no door on the bathroom, no storage in bedroom 3, only one dishwasher tablet. No storage for rollaway guests. Too many personal treasures that guests are nervous about damaging. With a little more thought perhaps bedroom could 3 have had an ensuite. Insufficient seating even for 5. This should never be advertised as an 8 sleeper. It has accommodation and equipment for 4. We were fortunate to be offered a chance to purchase pizzas from a function they were holding which was very kind. I think this is one of their early rodeos. but it needs a little help to match the cost.

Beautiful home, perfectly clean, peaceful holiday destination

We had such a lovely time at this property. It was very clean, and even more beautiful than the photos depicted. The owner was great at communicating with me about the details of check in and offered helpful suggestions about places to eat nearby. It's about a 15 minute walk away from the main shopping strip near the pier, but it's a beautiful walk along the path alongside the water. Very peaceful getaway!
