Easter 2021

My family just spent a great extra long weekend here. The shack is really practical & our host was very easy to communicate with throughout our 5 days. The landing you get to use with the property is a great spot to ski and splash about

We came back a second time

We love the quiet part of the river that this shack is situated on. So much tranquility and fun to be had at this lovely shack that has everything you need. The owners are hospitable and easy to deal with prompt correspondence. We loved it so much we came back a second time and will be back again once the jetty is stabilized.

Beautiful spot!

The owners were very easy to deal with and the place had pretty much everything we needed between a boat ramp nearby, enough beds, nice view, close to the river, private location on the bank, dishwasher, oven, pod machine and decent size barby. The only things that would be very handy would be another bathroom, or at least a seperate toilet and the jetty desperately needs an upgrade. It’s a little bit dangerous and not great for anyone that is not too sturdy on their feet. Otherwise we could not be happier 🤗. Will definitely definitely rent again 🤗

Relaxed and chill

This property is suitable for our group of 4 adults and 4 teens. My favourite place was the balcony where I just sit and chill. On a moonless night, look up to admire the canopy of stars right over the property from 9pm onwards in summer. In the morning watch the ducks in the pond and rabbits hopping around. There is a big fridge to store food for a few days even for a big group like ours. Lots of beds, air conditioning upstairs and downstairs. Only inconvenience is that the stairs are located outside the house but I think owner is building extension, so hopefully there’s plan to add a inside stairs.

Why they chose this property

As soon as we saw this house we knew it was right for us. This property needed a little TLC and a lot of love and we knew we could put that into this river shack. It was a little run down when we brought it but with love and hard work we have made it into a very comfortable family holiday spot. You will see when you stay that their is still work in progress but that will not interfere with your stay. We love sitting on the upper deck looking out over Kroehns Landing and looking out at the river.

What makes this property unique

The two story blue house is in the best spot in Kroehns Landing. Has good views of the river and all of Kroehns Landing. House is in quiet spot. Everyone that lives at Keoehns landing is very friendly and everyone watches out for each other. It is a very friendly place to come and relax and unwind. When staying at the property you get your own private piece of the river front where you can bring your boat and leave it morooned, enjoy your day water skiing.
