My wife Jenia and I met while performing in Circus as young adults before working our way into into hotel management. A lifetime later, we are now married with 3 kids and having travelled the world working in five star hotels for over 20 years we decided to build the dream retirement home which our kids and grand kids could come and stay with us anytime they wished. For now we use it as our holiday home....and now you can too ;o)
Why they chose this property
After travelling much of the world we decided that Palm Cove was the best place we have ever been or worked and as such decided it was the place for our retirement (more than a decade away still). We decided rather than to have the house empty for months on end to open the property up for private bookings. Backing onto the rainforest means that it is not unusual to see Kookaburras, kangaroos, curlews and even the odd goanna every now and then.
What makes this property unique
The house is very large and suitable for even the largest family and is the perfect location away from the main hotel area but with Ocean and Mountain views with beautiful evening breezes. It is close enough to walk to the beach and even Clifton Beach shopping centre if you wish. We have all the modern conveniences in the house and even some additional entertainment options such as streaming services, boogie boards and kids beach equipment, board games and jigsaw puzzles and even a small library.
