About this property

Located in a wooded area near one of Whistler's many lakes, our cozy, well-appointed family vacation home has all amenities and the convenient lay out has with one bedroom and bathroom at each end of the living area. There are two parking spots at the doorstep for easy access and public transportation to the nearby ski hill/village is just a few minutes' walk away. We love our easy access to the lake for swimming, kayaking, canoeing and paddle boarding in the summer and skating, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing on and around the frozen lake in winter. Whistler's 46 kilometer Valley Trail network is close by and, whether walking/biking to one of many lakes in the valley or heading into the village via the scenic route around the golf course, this extensive network offers an alternative to travel by car. Hikers can enjoy great trails in and around the Whistler area. Whistler Village itself offers many excellent restaurants, shops, a library, art galleries. Summer concerts at the Olympic Plaza are always a highlight for both guests and locals.

Decent chalet for a ski vacation

Good size for two guys who used the chalet to support a couple of weeks of skiing. Location is quiet and reasonably close to Whistler Village. One complaint is that the owners personal effects are everywhere and as a result it was almost impossible to unpack (not a problem for a few nights but quite a pain for two weeks) Also we were asked to use the ski locker instead of the house for our skis but it too was completely full …so our skis had to stay in the car. Additionally the kitchen cupboards and the fridge freezer were also jammed…not what we were expecting of a chalet at this price. Otherwise it was comfortable and well located.

Bob and Lynn are probably some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. They seemed to genuinely care that we enjoyed our time in Whistler and offered us ideas for other activities when the weather didn’t cooperate. Can’t say enough great things about them.

Pleasant stay in a quiet cabin near Whistler ski resort!

Lynn and Bob were wonderful hosts during our stay at their cabin in Whistler! They were very responsive and generous throughout the rental experience. For example, they let us borrow a pair of ski poles when we forgot ours at home and provided us with lots of great recommendations for places to eat and nearby activities. The cabin had everything we needed for our four night stay including a well equipped kitchen and a smart TV! The shuttle bus was just a short walk away, but it's also not a bad walk to the mountain if you leave your ski equipment there overnight. We recommend using Epic Rides to pick you up and drop you off directly at the cabin when coming from Vancouver. The Whistle rideshare app was also great for getting around! We can't wait to book their place again for our next trip to Whistler!
