Terrible Management!
The actual vacation home was great! The management was AWFUL! Extremely disrespectful & rude! Checkout for this property is 10:00 A.M. which is quite early compared to most properties. I called management to make a request to check out one hour later (11:00 AM), since we had an infant traveling with us & we would like to let the infant have her nap. The management responded to extremely rudely, saying No! And threatened that if anyone was found on the property at 10:00 AM when the cleaning crew arrived, they would have yo code us! I asked what exactly they meant and they said they would have to call the cops! Really?! If i had stayed at a nice hotel and asked the same question they would have simply responded with a polite explanation and a polite “No, I’m sorry it is not possible” or something equal yo this statement. They certainly would have not threatened me with the police for simply asking a question! It’s absolutely absurd how they acted! Also, unlike most VRBO properties, this properties required that you check in to receive the lock box code at a different property. several miles from the vacation property! This was also an inconvenience. Because of these experiences Inwould not rent again from this property unless they hired kinder more respectful management!

Winter Snow & Parking- During winter months the driveways, steps, porches, decks, and other outdoor areas at your property may not be accessible due to snow or ice. Our teams are on fixed routes for snow and work alongside city and county resources to clear roads, driveways, walkways etc. Guests should be prepared in winter months to shovel themselves in or out of the property and off of the street in these snowstorm events. As there is no street parking allowed in Big Bear it is extremely important that guests make every attempt to get vehicles off the street for the snowplows. California Law requires that vehicles traveling to Big Bear from November thru April have snow chains in their vehicles however we also recommend proper footwear, an emergency kit, and an extra snow shovel.
