Nestled directly in front of Lake Katherine in the Southern Forests is this recently built 2-bedroom luxury cottage. Karri LakeHouse has all the modern conveniences of a city pad with the ambience and tranquillity of the country. Wake up refreshed and watch the mist on the lake. Then enjoy complimentary coffee/tea and the smells of the forest. If you arrive in the evening you will be greeted by kangaroos hopping around the property. With a queen bed in one room and a king single (and comfortable pull out trundle) in the other room, the house is suitable for couples, small families and smallish pets.

Lake House

A beautiful setting. Quiet, so quiet! Kangaroos, kayaks and amazing for star gazing. A sweet little house, lively furnishings and well appointed. Our teenagers loved it. We did too!

New Years Getaway

Beautiful Surroundings

The property is lovely and the setting is gorgeous. Everything you could want if you want quiet and serenity. Great walk around the lake. Betty our doggie loved the kayaks. Only one small downside was the open entry to the bathroom which had no shutters and the morning light woke us up every morning at 5am. If this was fixed then it would have been a five.

Lakehoise review

Spacious, quirky house decorated in owners style of memorabilia but cluttered and dusty, and had to Hoover rug again on arrival due to doghair which was ingrained. Wardrobes and cupboards full of owners’ own things but off putting. Although kitchen was nice and well stocked. Lots of cobwebs outside and had to clean off front door and outside furniture before using. Needed instructions on how to get TV going directly with owners despite written instructions (no remote battery). Owners kindly left wine, bread, butter, bacon, eggs - appreciated thanks. Beds comfortable. Good wifi and nice to have foxtel. Attractive aspect of garden with visiting kangaroos and kookaburra. Quiet and pretty surrounds and lovely walk easily accessible around lake. Driveway to property is narrow and the drive is on a pebbled slope. Good accessibility for disabled hubby was a plus.

Peaceful Hideaway

Kayaking on the lake and walking the trails with our dog were the highlights. Well equiped and spacious, Kangaroos, kookaburras and frogs aplenty also expect a few spiders and cobwebs. The furniture feels like it has been relocated from Bali and is a bit dated and reminds me of visiting and old aunt. Nostalgic and homely. Wood fire was a welcome addition to the 3 air -conditioners. Location :There is little else in Quinniup apart from the tavern so you need go bring all that you need. However it is just 30 minutes to Manjimup and Pemberton.
